A downloadable game for Windows
"As usual on his way back from school, Kai passes by the cliffs to play with the kite of his lost sister, Ára. That day, her dreamlike figure appears to him and he rushes after her."
Pull the ropes of Kai's kite and help him get through a celestial journey he'll remember forever!
Kite Kid was developed over three months by a team of 6 students from CNAM-ENJMIN.
We gathered around the initial pitch of creating a musical game but different, that emphasised sensations and flow. We also wanted to craft a cinematic experience, with a short story set in a poetic world.
The whole project was designed as an interactive installation: we built an alternative controller, which allows the player to control our character with actual kite lines.
It's with this set-up that we believe the game is best experienced, however you can still enjoy Kite Kid with a gamepad!

Hi, thank you for downloading Kite Kid and for the feedback!
We are not sure to understand the issue. Is it a black screen, or are you stuck in the main menu?
If it is the case, are you playing with a controller ? Else, to start the game, you need to push both triggers to the maximum.
Note that few controllers type have trouble getting connected and the game plays better with analog triggers.
We hope this can solve the problem.
Have a good time playing,
The Kite Kid team
